For more than 20 years, EmTroniX has been designing and producing advanced electronics and embedded software for New Space applications. Seven fields of in-house expertise give us an extended technical knowledge in electronics, embedded software, digital signal processing and telecommunication systems design. Recently, EmTroniX decided to focus on the development and commercialisation of its new products portfolio. This role of System Engineer will directly contribute to this purpose with a technical involvement in all aspects of mission and product design, from requirement management to integration and verification. EmTroniX is an energetic, human-sized and innovative engineering company with more than 30 international employees.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that the projects are achieved on-time, within budget and at the required quality
- Drive the project team to ensure progression and coordination
- Manage the project’s scope with the project team, company priorities and customer requests
- Organize all milestone reviews and internal gates
- Ensure timely delivery of all deliverables
- Prepare and present regular project reports to company management and customers
- Track and maintain project planning and remaining work estimation
- Identify and resolve project risks
- Positively influence projects through personal behaviour and attitude, being a role-model in terms of integrity and professionalism
- Help solve the different issues of the project life
- Use and respect company and customer escalation schemes
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Previous experience with customers, subcontractors and supplier management
- Comfortable in SME environment
- Collaborative approach
- Sharp with time-management
- Electronics background is appreciated
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Graduate with Master’s Degree in any industrial engineering field
- Past experience in engineering work
- Proven records as Project Manager, preferably in the space industry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Analytical mind to summarize discussions and meetings
- Must be able to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Fluent in English (French is a strong asset)
