WORK ENVIRONMENT

For more than 20 years, EmTroniX has been designing and producing advanced electronics and embedded software for New Space applications. Seven fields of in-house expertise give us an extended technical knowledge in electronics, embedded software, digital signal processing and telecommunication systems design. Recently, EmTroniX decided to focus on the development and commercialisation of its new products portfolio. This role of System Engineer will directly contribute to this purpose with a technical involvement in all aspects of mission and product design, from requirement management to integration and verification. EmTroniX is an energetic, human-sized and innovative engineering company with more than 30 international employees.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishing the PA and Safety requirements baseline for all elements of the project
  • Produce and implement PA/QA plans
  • Ensure that materials, mechanical parts, processes and electrical components used to assemble the product shall be fit for purpose over the entire lifecycle
  • Support design and procurement process (selection, audits, specifications)
  • Organize, manage and lead PA related meetings
  • Perform or specify and delegate inspections
  • Control suppliers’ deliveries, PCB assembly, Product integration, AIT activities
  • Follow up non-conformance, manage waivers and deviations, chair NRBs
  • Maintain all required PA templates, forms and databases
  • Reporting project PA status (risks, deviations, issues, schedule of PA activities)
  • Support Project Managers with configuration control and data management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Over 5 years relevant experience in space sector
  • ESA documentation experience & ECSS
  • Experience with working in clean room
  • Experience with FMECA and radiation analyses
  • Excellent communications skills both written and oral
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong quality awareness

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Master’s degree in Engineering required (preferably in Electronics or Mechatronics) 
  • Synthetic, coherent and consistent mindset 
  • Excellent team-working skills 
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, French or German are strong assets
