This merger opens up exciting new opportunities to work on larger, more complex programmes, expanded international markets, and end-to-end satellite payload technology solutions.
Our expansion has us focused on developing and commercializing a new product portfolio. As part of this journey, we are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to strengthen our business development activities and take ownership of high-value, technically complex proposals, primarily within the space sector. Reporting to the Sales and Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in the acquisition of programs and projects and occasionally support product sales.
Our future Electronics engineer will work directly on the hardware electronics design of EmTroniX’s NewSpace Products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and analyze Systems requirements and propose compliant architectures
- Design and Implement schematics with detailed analog and digital circuit
- Perform design analysis such as Worst-Case Analysis, Derating Analysis and FMEA/FMECA.
- Review PCB/layout design provided by the team.
- Perform initial testing and debugging of the CBA, and then complete functional test.
- Provide technical and official documentation: analysis, test plans, test results
- Support S/W and F/W teams in order to provide a complete system that meets requirements and project deadlines
- Support test competency to establishing automated testing
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Knowledge of the Electronic Design Automation (EDA)/Computer Assisted Design (CAD) tool (Altium, Cadence …)
- Familiarity with database management
- Experience with other EDA tools and eventually script development
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Strong interest in developing hardware electronics schematics, small signals, high-speed memories and micro-controllers/FPGA, and low power DC/DC conversion.
- Knowledge in PCB layout and general laboratory test equipment
- Scripting ability to automate tests and report tasks
- Competences in planning and risk management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Fluent in English – French or German are strong asset
- Master degree in electronics engineering or equivalent
- Over 5 years of relevant experience – not necessarily in space. Automotive or medical experience would be appreciated.
