EmTroniX and Anywaves Attend High-Level Space Collaboration Event in Washington, D.C.

EmTroniX and Anywaves attend a high-level Luxembourg space event in Washington DC, highlighting global collaboration and the Artemis II launch.

EmTroniX, together with Anywaves, had the honour of participating in a distinguished international space event hosted at the Embassy of Luxembourg in Washington, D.C. on April 1st, 2026. The event, organised in collaboration with the University of Luxembourg and University of California, Berkeley, brought together leading stakeholders from government, academia, and the global space industry.

Representing a Combined European Space Capability

Our delegation— Anywaves President Nicolas Capet, Anywaves-USA CEO Nicolas Hine, and Anywaves Chief Marketing Officer Remco Timmermans—was proud to represent the combined strengths of EmTroniX and Anywaves within this high-level forum dedicated to advancing international space cooperation. The event highlighted the growing importance of transatlantic partnerships in driving innovation and resilience across the space sector.

High-Level Dialogue on the Future of Space

The programme featured keynote contributions from prominent figures including Luxembourg Minister for Research and Higher Education Ms. Stéphanie Obertin and US Space Force Chief Science Officer Dr. Stacie Williams, followed by a panel discussion addressing the evolving intersection of government, academia, and industry in the space sector. These exchanges provided valuable insights into the strategic priorities shaping the next phase of international space collaboration.

Witnessing a Milestone in Space Exploration

A particularly memorable, yet unplanned, moment of the evening was the live viewing of the launch of Artemis II, marking a significant milestone in human space exploration. Sharing this moment with an audience of international leaders further underscored the collective ambition driving the global space community.

Acknowledging Our Hosts

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the University of Luxembourg and the Embassy of Luxembourg in Washington, D.C. for their kind invitation and excellent organisation of this event. Such initiatives play a crucial role in strengthening international partnerships and fostering meaningful dialogue across the space ecosystem.

We were specifically honoured to meet Luxembourg Ambassador to the US Mrs. Nicole Bintner-Bakshian, Deputy Chief of Mission Mrs. Annabelle Dullin, Vice President of the Luxembourg Space Agency Dr. Romain Martin, Associate Provost of the UC Berkeley Space Center Dr. Victoria Coleman, and of course organiser Prof. Björn Ottersten of the University of Luxembourg.
