We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Operator to join our team. This role will involve assembling electronic components, ensuring high-quality production standards, and following strict manufacturing processes. Additionally, the position requires operating and maintaining production equipment, inspecting assemblies for quality control, and adhering to safety and ESD handling procedures. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, a hands-on approach, and experience working in an electronics assembly environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the manufacturing order and be sure everything is correctly filled to complete the task
  • Prepare the material needed for the assembly
  • Assemble manually or automatically the components on the PCB
  • Be able to use at least screen print machine, pick & place and vapour phase oven
  • Adapt the component choice according to the support and the need
  • Control the quality of the soldering and assembly achieved
  • Fill digitally the required quality documents
  • Advice and help other engineers in order to constantly improve our way of working

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • PCB Assembly Knowledge – Understanding of PCB components, soldering, and assembly processes.
  • Hand Soldering & Rework – Ability to solder fine-pitch components (SMT) and perform rework.
  • Reading & Interpreting Technical Documents – Ability to read assembly drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and schematics.
  • Handling of ESD-Sensitive Components – Knowledge of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) precautions and handling.
  • Traceability & Documentation – Recording work progress, defects, and process deviations.
  • Attention to Detail & Dexterity – Ability to spot small defects and maintain precision.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in component assembly on PCB
  • Benefit from a first experience in the space, aeronautic or military sector is appreciated
  • Be familiar with the office 365 suite
  • Be able to work on your own, be rigorous and have an orderly mind
  • Want to work in a technological environment, in a spirit of collective energy and trust

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Be familiar with schematic layout
  • Differentiate component and display them properly according to the assembly process
  • Be able to evaluate the work done and identify improvement possibilities
  • Have knowledge in the Altium software is considered as an asset
