Infrastructure Management:
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of servers (Linux), networks, and data storage systems.
Network Administration:
  • Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance and security, addressing issues promptly.
Policy Development:
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure security and compliance.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Security Management:
  • Implement security measures to protect against cyber threats and data breaches.

Disaster Recovery Planning:

Job requirements

Technical Proficiency:
    • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers (Linux), storage, and networking equipment.
    • Proficiency in network protocols, routing, and security protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VPN, IPSec).

    Cybersecurity Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with security best practices, intrusion detection systems, and firewall configurations.
    • Good understanding of encryption technologies and access control.

    Policy Development:
    • Ability to create, update, and enforce IT policies and procedures.
    • Understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).

    Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:
    • Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex IT issues.
    • Quick decision-making in critical situations.

    Communication:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
    • Documentation skills for maintaining accurate records and reports.
    • Fluent in English (French is a strong asset and German optional)
